False Ceiling

False Ceiling

Design and construction of false ceilings and plaster and plasterboard works

Our company has always been involved in the creation of false ceilings. The slabs relative to the false ceiling that we have are made of panels, slats, gills, grids or coffered ceiling in different materials such as: in plaster, coated or fiber-reinforced plaster, fiber-reinforced mineral , metal or wood. These variants are the most requested and can be installed in all types of buildings, whether they are commercial premises or homes.

As the name implies, the false ceiling is a second ceiling that hides the first, thus creating a space that can be used mostly as a technical room, to facilitate the insertion of lighting systems, conditioned heating systems, sound systems and alarm systems. It is also able to offer maximum performance in terms of thermal insulation and sound absorption, thanks to the insulating material present in the false ceiling, which can cushion noise and reduce heat dispersion between one floor and another.

The false ceiling can be divided mainly into three types: in adherence, suspended and self-supporting, each of which certainly gives a different result as well as functional, and above all aesthetic.

“In adherence” in the sense that the false ceiling consists of a metal framework, fixed directly to the slab by means of special connection hooks, to which the selected slabs are placed for the intervention.

“Suspended” false ceiling as it consists of suspension and support elements (steel hangers) that start from the floor of the upper floor and hold the metal frame.

Finally, “self-supporting”, since the metal structure supporting the false ceiling does not rest in any way on the ceiling (as in the two previous cases) but on the perimeter walls, through guide profiles arranged along the sides of the space in question.
